Brian is a firefighter with 23 years of experience protecting lives and property in Ohio.
He is certified in all aspects of firefighting and rescue, including (FFII), (EMT-B), Certified Fire Safety Inspector (CFSI), Confined Space Rescue Technician (CSRT), Advanced Rope Rescue, and National Incident Management System (NIMS).
Throughout two decades of service, he has demonstrated courage and the willingness to place the needs of others before his own, and he translates that service into providing the safest care for residents in our community.
April Daniska MSN, BS, CRNA
April brings with her a multidisciplinary background required to build an assisted living model specialized in memory care.
She is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with nearly two decades of experience in direct patient care. Her research expertise includes neuroscience and Alzheimer’s pathology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Cheryl Carter, MAIS, STNA, joined Camella Living as House Manager. She possesses 27 years of non-profit management and development experience in the health and arts fields. She brings her expertise in staff supervision, human resources, healthy food preparation, knowledge of dementia and the love of seeing an organization thrive to Camella Living.
Cheryl’s passion for dementia care stems from her experience caring for her mother, Rachel, whose journey with early onset Alzheimer’s disease led to an untimely death in 2013 at only 71 years young.
In addition to her professional experience, Cheryl has a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (MAIS) from Hiram College where she studied medical ethics, history, economics, and literature. Her final Capstone project focused on the effect of Alzheimer’s disease on her mother. She worked with her mother, Rachel, to create a film about her experience, memories, and interactions as a person with dementia. A State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA), Cheryl is excited to be a part of Camella Living supporting families in their journey to care for their loved ones with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.
