At Camella Living in Copley, Alzheimer’s and dementia care, as well as memory care are an integral part of our program. We know how dementia and Alzheimer’s can affect individuals and their family members, impacting daily life and memory.

Specialized Memory Care
Our memory care seeks to stimulate brain activity, preserve memory function, and create an environment that is sensitive to the needs of those living with dementia or Alzheimer’s. Camella Living residents receive compassionate services while living in our Alzheimer’s, dementia, and memory care facility in Copley.
Meals are prepared with an emphasis on science-based brain nutrition, with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables and other healthy ingredients.

Our approach to memory care is engaging and well-rounded, addressing a full spectrum of stimuli, from daily activities and nutrition to environmental surroundings.
We have zero raised transitions in the flooring in our facility, and the colors and décor are thoughtfully chosen to be soothing, without busy patterns or highly reflective surfaces. Surfaces such as countertops, sinks, and tables are designed with clear contrasts, and special lighting is installed under each bed to enhance navigation for those experiencing a loss in depth perception. These are all special considerations that we include as a part of our assisted Alzheimer’s, dementia, and memory care services in our Copley facility.
Even the dishes we use for meal service are designed with contrast to see food more easily. We perform frequent noise and lighting audits of our living environment to ensure it supports chromotherapy and enhances natural circadian rhythm to promote better sleep.
